Landing Nets come in various shapes and sizes often with a detachable handle. which allows the angler to use lighter lines an still land the fish sucessfully. The fish is scooped into the net at the end of the fight rather than swinging the fish in. Thy can be round or triangular. Generally in match fishing shalloe scoop net are used.
