Float Fishing Rods normally range from 3-4.2mt (11-14ft). Although there are are some specialist exceptions.
As a general rule of thumb the further out you want to fish the longer your rod should be.
A 3.5 mt float fishing road is good for short range fishing such as canals and margins. With 2-3 bb waggler floats.
3.6- 3.9 mt fishing rods are good for long to medium range waggler fishing.
